ICC’s latest rule for countering slow over-rates is something to bring a smile on the captains’ faces. ICC has decided to lift the rule of suspending a captain for maintaining slow over-rates, introducing a change to a law that states every player on the field will bear equal punishment along with the captain. The new rule will be effective from the upcoming World Test Championship which starts with the Ashes from August 1.
