Taking jibe at the current PM Narendra Modi, former PM Manmohan Singh said that "I certainly was the silent PM, but I was never afraid of addressing the press. I had interactions with the press at regular intervals. I always kept in mind that after my foreign trips I had a press conference as soon as possible." It is obvious that this dig was against PM Modi who not yet had any press conference since he took charge.
