The Home Ministry has been tight-lipped and kept well under wraps as to why intelligence agencies were allowed to access the computer data. They have termed it to be confidential. When asked, the ministry said that it is a 'top secret' and cannot be disclosed as it is exempted under the Section 8(1)(a), 8(1)(g) and 8(1)(h) of the RTI act. About 10 intelligence organizations can access information from any computer.
