Himachal Pradesh Avalanche: 1 army jawan dead, 5 missing

An avalanche hit at around 11 am near Shipkala pass on the Sino-India border in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The sliding glacier killed 1 army jawan and 5 others went missing. There were two separate parties from the army & the Indo-Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) patrolling at Namgia-Dogri when they avalanche hit. The rescue operations were on & 1 body has been recovered whereas 5 bodies are yet to be traced.
