Hearing on BJP Rath Yatra is not urgent: SC

After the BJP sought an urgent hearing for the allowance of their Rath Yatra in West Bengal, the Supreme Court said that the hearing on an urgent basis on this matter is not required. BJP has challenged the order of the division bench of the Calcutta HC, who is not allowing the party to conduct a rally in the state. They have also filed an appeal in SC accusing Mamata Banerjee govt of suppressing the fundamental right.
