Content TeamTenders worth over a whopping Rs.25,000 crore has either been cancelled, modified and re-issued after the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has stepped in to diversify their conditions in order to promote Make in India goods. It is learnt that a tender worth Rs.8,000 crore for an ammonia plant for gasification was re-issued and modified after the DIPP intervened to change the products.
