In July this year, Google faced the biggest ever anti-trust fine of $5 bn by the EU, as it has illegally abused the dominance of its operating system for mobile devices. The firm was then ordered to stop the illegal practice or pay fine. A confirmation e-mail was sent by the spokesperson of Google to AFP stating that they have filed appeal of the European Commission's Android decision at the General Court of the EU.
