Former Railway Minister C.K. Jaffer Sharief passes away at 85

Senior Congress leader CK Jaffer Sharief passed away today. He was 85. He breathed his last at a hospital in Karnataka's Bengaluru. He was hospitalised on Friday after he collapsed while getting into the car for Friday namaz. As per his close associates, he was busy preparing for the release of the Urdu translation of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad’s ‘India Wins Freedom’. KPCC president condoled the demise of former Rail minister.
