Former Delhi CM Madan Lal Khurana passes away

Following a prolonged illness, Madan Lal Khurana, former Delhi chief minister, passed away in Delhi on Saturday night. He was 82. He suffered a brain haemorrhage in April 2011. He served as the chief minister of Delhi between 1993 and 1996 before being replaced by Sahib Singh Verma. He also served as Governor of Rajasthan in 2004. He was also a member of Rashtriya Swayansevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
