Flights at Mumbai airport delayed after Air India ground staff strike

Over non payment of Diwali bonus and sacking of some workers, Air India Air Transport Services Limited's contractual workers went on strike at 11 pm on Wednesday. Following which several Air India flights from Mumbai’s Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport were delayed on Thursday. As per Air India spokesperson, they are assessing the situation and making all possible efforts to minimise delay in services.
