FIFA hands life ban to former Nigeria coach

Former Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has been slapped with a life ban by FIFA for agreeing to "receive bribes in relation to the manipulation of matches." Siasia has served as the coach of Nigeria between 2010 and 2011 and for a short spell in 2016 but the exact time frame when FIFA suspects he committed his infractions is still not clear. He was also the coach of the African nation’s Under-20 and Under-23 sides.
