While addressing the media after the UNSC meeting in New York over the current situation in Kashmir, India's permanent representative to the UN, had a classy response to Pakistan journalists before sitting down to answer questions. A journalist asked, 'when will you begin a dialogue with Pakistan?,' to which Akbaruddin walked over and shook hands with the Pakistan journalists, saying we have already extended a hand of friendship.
