While hearing a few petitions challenging the controversial Rafale deal, Supreme Court of India asked the government to inform it about the decision-making process involved in the deal to purchase 36 Rafale fighter jets from France. A bench led by CJI Ranjan Gogoi clarified to explain the decision-making process after Attorney General KK Venugopal claimed that it is a national security matter. Details can't be given out.
