In the wake of Ethiopian airlines crash that killed all 157 passengers, India has banned Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft used by the country's airline companies. DGCA has taken this decision with immediate effect. Boeing 737 planes will be grounded & safety measures are taken to ensure safe operations; as passenger safety is the top priority. Spice jet has 12 in its fleet while Jet Airways has 5 in its fleet.
