Voters living abroad are excited to exercise their franchise, but for 1 Indian voter living in Oman, things went bad after he fell prey to an online scam. He let the world know that he booked a ticket to his hometown Mangalore to cast his vote. Soon after his video floated, an online scammer canceled his flight ticket using his PNR details within 2 hours. He paid Rs 21045 for a round trip, of which Rs 9000 is refunded.
