Ayodhya has been in controversy from a long time for the approval of construction of Ram Temple. The dispute is between the politicians only but not the citizens. The residents of Ayodhya have a view that the disputed land should be turned into a playground for children. The residents, be it a Hindu or Muslim, are now tired of living under the unsettled shadow of communalism and don't want any fresh controversy over it.
