Denying allegations imposed by Pallavi, MJ Akbar calls it consensual relation

Earlier in the day, US-based journalist, Pallavi Gogoi alleged that former External Affair Minister, MJ Akbar raped her 23 years back she was working under him in Asian Age. The minister had to resign from his post after facing multiple #MeToo allegations. He has commented on Gogoi's allegations and called them all to be false and said that he had a consensual relationship with her, which didn’t end on a good note.
