Delhi to soon become 'first state' to implement Street vending act: CM Kejriwal

In great news for vendors all around Delhi, the National Capital will soon become the first state to implement the Street vending act, which provides legal protection to street vendors and hawkers. The Delhi chief minister said that town vending committees have been set up and a notification has been issued. Vendors will be provided certificates and licenses bearing the name of the owner, address and place of vending.
