DeepVeer Wedding: Sikh organisation alleges Anand Karaj tradition was not maintained

DeepVeer's wedding lands into controversy after an Italian Sikh organisation has alleged that the Sikh code of conduct was violated during the wedding. As and when the complaint was received, the matter would be taken up with the 5 high priests, said Akal Takht acting Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh. Taking Guru Granth Sahib to a place other than a gurdwara is prohibited, said Indian Sikh Community Italy president.
