Concussion substitutes set for Ashes debut

To make the sport safer, ICC is set to introduce concussion substitutes in international cricket during the Ashes before implementing it in all formats. Inclusion of concussion substitutes is a major agenda of ICC since the tragic death of Aussie cricketer Phil Hughes, who was hit on the head during a Sheffield Shield match in 2014. Cricket Australia has already introduced concussion substitutes in domestic cricket.
