Surprisingly, even though it's winter in Greenland, rains are more common & frequent; this leads to accelerating the melting ice sheet in Greenland. Scientists closely watch the ice sheets as it has huge frozen water & found the areas that are melting. If all of that ice melted, the sea levels would rise by 7 meters threatening all the coastal area of the world. Usually, it snows in winter balancing the melting in summer.
