China's CRISPR twins who had their genes edited, might have enhanced brains

Last year, a Chinese scientist used CRISPR gene editing technique on twin girls to immunise them for HIV. Now, scientists say that the procedure might have impacted their brains too in a way that enhances cognition & memory. A research study showed that when the same alteration was done in mice, it made the mice smarter as CCR5 plays a major role. But no one knows how the method has affected the minds of those twins!
