Child Helpline suspended for a month after receiving lewd calls

The toll-free helpline number, which was started in 2016 as part of the "e-box" initiative of the Women and Child Development Ministry to enable filing of complaints of sexual offences against children, has been suspended temporarily after it appeared in pornographic content search. They also received calls seeking sexual services. Although commision has launched an alternative number but trying to bring back suspended number.
