Turned 54, Jack Ma is celebrating his birthday today. Ma has told that the CEO, Daniel Zhang of Alibaba will take his place of chairman exactly after 12 months. Though Ma will resign from the post of executive chairman, he will remain on the BOD till the annual meeting of shareholders in 2020. He is stepping down to pursue philanthropy in education and is the richest man in China with a net worth of US$38.6 bn.
