CAG's reports on Rafale says deal was 2.8% cheap and not 9% as claimed by govt

Report on the Rafale deal by the CAG has been tabled in the Rajya Sabha which revealed that Rafale deal was just 2.8% cheaper than what UPA negotiated and not 9% as claimed by the government. The report is nearly 140 pages long, and about 30 are focused on the Rafale deal while remaining pages talks about 11 other deals signed between 2012 and 2017. It said that unnecessary India-specific improvements were made in 2016.
