By 2023, Mumbai’s double-decker buses will go off roads

Due to high operating costs and less spacious roads, Mumbai’s famous double-decker buses will go off roads by October 2023. The BEST while sharing the reason said that maintaining such big buses costs them more than normal buses; it’s a challenge to maintain them. The buses were famous among tourists. They came on roads in 1937 and currently, just 120 double-decker buses are on road on just 7 routes in Mumbai.
