It has been 2 years since the demonetization. In 2016, the Modi government banned the use of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. Even after the ban, there are some emotions attached to the old notes and so the e-commerce site, e-Bay has been selling the old Rs 500 note just for $6. The anonymous seller is selling the notes, which are no more in use from the US. The site claims that 15 pieces have already been sold.
