South Asia has the greatest toll where lives will be cut short by 30 mths, Africa by 24 mths, & East Asia by 23 mths. Air pollution has contributed 1 in 10 deaths in 2017 as per the SOGA 2019 study. Young kids face stunted lung development risks that last a lifetime.
