Bhubaneswar receives provisional clearance for U-17 Women’s World Cup

Bhubaneswar became the first venue to acquire a provisional clearance for the 2020 Women’s U-17 World Cup. There will be a final inspection later this year. By that time, the venue has to be fully compliant. Only then it will get full clearance by FIFA and will be confirmed as the host city for the tournament. The event will be the first FIFA competition for women and second overall to be staged in India.
