Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme being criticized by C&AG for not utilizing funds

Introduced by the PM Modi, BBBP Scheme was sought to be the best till now as the C&AG has criticized it a lot for not utilizing the funds significantly. The data said that not even 20% of the funds were spent by states and UT under the scheme in last 4 years. The MWCD also been releasing funds without checking the utilization of the previous funds. Allocated by the center for the scheme out of Rs 19L nearly Rs 2L was spent.
