Before US elections, Facebook has removed more than 800 spam accounts

As US mid-term elections are coming, Facebook said that it has removed more than 800 spam accounts and pages which showed inauthentic behavior. Head of Facebook’s cybersecurity policy, said that they have removed 559 pages and 251 accounts which were continuously breaking the rules of the website. These accounts were directing people to their ad-laden sites outside Fb, by spreading ‘sensational political news’.
