Allahabad will now be known by its new name ‘Prayagraj’

On Tuesday, a cabinet meeting was held in Lucknow and the Cabinet of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath accepted the proposal to rename the famous city of Allahabad after which it got its new name ‘Prayagraj’. The CM said that from today Allahabad will be known as Prayagraj. After the decision came the opposition have started attacking Yogi. Congress said that he has diminished the importance of the city by renaming it.
