After Rahul Gandhi's waiving promise, farmers stop paying loans

This year in June during his rally in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress President, Rahul Gandhi promised that if he wins this time, he will waive loans of the farmers. After his promise, many farmers in the state have stopped repaying their loans. This revelation came after the officials of cooperative and nationalised banks said that the repayments of the farm loans have dropped by at least 10% in the state.
