MJ Akbar was accused in 12 cases of sexual harassment including journalists. After facing the accusations there was continuous pressure on BJP to remove him as the Junior External Affairs Minister. The minister has finally resigned from his post amid allegations. However, Akbar has denied all the allegations and said that it was all politically motivated. He even said that he will take legal actions for defaming him.
