Apple has bought a Danish start-up, Spektral, which has a software that erases the backgrounds from the videos immediately. The news of purchase didn’t come out until a Danish newspaper broke it on Thursday. For $30 million, the deal was closed in December 2017, Fortune noted. Earlier, Spektral was known by ‘CloudCutout’.
