A petition was filed in the court to see the documents and records for understanding the logic behind increasing fuel rates, is rejected by the HC on Wednesday. Pooja Mahajan wants to know the idea and method used for changing fuel prices. Her advocate has alleged oil companies of selling old stock at new rates even when they have purchased it at a low price. Strengthening of dollar is stated as one reason for this rise.
