Visa of stranded foreigners extended till August 31

The Home Ministry extended till August 31 the visas of the foreign nationals stranded in India due to non-resumption of commercial flights on account of the Covid-19 pandemic. The foreign nationals need not submit applications for extension of their visa, but they should apply for an exit permission to the FRRO/FRO before exiting the country that will be also granted on gratis basis without any overstay penalty.
