Uttarakhand’s new tourism policy will lauch in October

Uttrakhand tourism minister Satpal Maharaj announced that the states new tourism policy will be launched in October. It will be first tourist policy after the creation of the state in 2000. The key features of the new policy will be homestay and rural tourism which will lead to the strengthening of the rural economy. The policy is in its final stage after which it will be sent for government approval in October starting.
