The United States has issued a regulatory, warning its air carriers to avoid Pakistani airspace citing the probable threat of attacks on its airlines. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released a statement in which it said the commercial and the state carriers could be a target of Pakistani extremist and militant groups. US advised the carriers to exercise caution when flying in Pak airspace.
