Under amended MVA, Delhi truck driver hits new record-high challan at Rs 2.05 lakh

The new MV Act has led to hefty fines across the country by traffic policemen. Yet another record-breaking fine of Rs 2,00,500 has been issued against a truck driver in Delhi. It happened in Mukarba Chowk of New Delhi and is the highest fine imposed by any policemen in the country. The truck driver was found guilty of driving with a carriage above the permissible limit, and challan was issued for violating traffic rules.
