UN aviation body asks Pakistan to suspend issuance of new pilot licenses

Months after a fake license scandal was unearthed in the Pakistan Airlines following an unfortunate crash, the International Civil Aviation Organization has asked Islamabad to suspend the issuance of any new pilot licenses as a part of "immediate corrective actions". The ICAO also asked Pakistan to strengthen its licensing system after 50 pilots and five civil aviation officials were found to be involved in a fake license scandal.
