UK, US issue travel advisory as protests in Northeast turn violent

The US, the UK, France and Israel have issued travel advisories following violent protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) in parts of the northeast. The countries have advised their citizens not to travel to the states. They also warned the citizens about communication lockdown and violence in the region. UK Foreign Office asked its citizen to exercise caution while travelling to these areas.
