Uber self driving car involved in accident, results in death of pedestrian

An autonomous driving Uber was involved in an accident in Arizona as it crashed into a woman who was crossing the street. She was taken to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries. The car had a safety driver at the wheel, and many claim him legally responsible. As a result of this, Uber has withdrawn their self-driven car services and they claim this has affected the future of self-driven vehicles.
