Trip to Dubai to get expensive

From January 1, 2018, UAE decided to impose VAT of 5% on various goods and services including hotels, sightseeing tours and car hires due to falling revenue from oil and weakening the economy. Consequently, this VAT lead to make a trip to Dubai cost 5-7% more and tourists will also have to pay more if also they already made a confirmed booking for any service in UAE after January 1, 2018.
