After facing huge backlash, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the government will lift the restriction imposed on travellers from India amid a huge surge in Covid cases here. Morrison had to face the anger of the Australian public, mainly cricketers who were in India for taking part in the IPL. Several cricketers had pulled out of IPL in the mid of the tournament due to the situation in India.
