The decision of limiting the number of tourists entering Taj Mahal to 30,000 per day has been taken by the ASI director-general with the joint secretary, and other members. The ASI will execute this decision by stopping the booking of railway tickets whether offline or online when the booking number reaches 30,000. The decision is taken because large no. of visitors are harmful to its foundations.
