White sandy beaches, crystal clear, pristine blue water and pleasant weather have made Ishigaki island of Southwest Japan the most trending travel spot in the world. Ishigaki has recently topped the Tripadvisors “destinations on the rise” list. Ishigaki means stoned wall but the island is surrounded by blue water and coral reefs, located in mountain Gifu prefecture. Ishigaki is also known for Yaeyama soba noodles.
