Taj Mahal to open its gate before sunrise

Thursday onward, the gate of one of the ‘wonders of the world’ Taj Mahal will open 30 minutes early and will close 45 minutes before sunset for security checks to be done in natural light. It will be a memorable experience for many visitors to experience the beauty of the Taj against the rising sun. ASI is considering to cap the number of visitors at Taj Mahal to 40,000 daily from now on.
