Switzerland is best in terms of getting a boost of $21,000 in average worker’s salary but it ranked 8th due to a high cost for raising children and difficulty in making friends. The US and Hong Kong are also the best countries placed at 2nd and 3rd position respectively in terms of average annual expat salary. Singapore is topping the list as the best nation to live and work, HSBC’s annual Expat Explorer said.
