Spiritual trips are becoming popular among Indians

According to a survey, Indian tourists are showing more interest to visit the spiritual destinations like Puri, Varanasi, Shirdi and Tirupati this summer as there is a 60% growth in hotel bookings in Puri and 48% growth in Varanasi. Travellers usually stay for 2-3 days in the religious places and look for budget hotels to stay. According to ixigo CEO, spiritual travelling has become the offbeat trend this season.
